To protect the confidentiality of your profile information, HealthyPractice® uses a 128-bit SSL security certificate to encrypt of all confidential communication across the internet between you and the portal.
The certificate is used for the My Profile section of HealthyPractice®.
Depending on your browser settings, you may not be aware of the use of SSL.
If you see a pop up asking you to accept the certificate, click yes.
If you do not have access to the My Profile section, it may be that your browser is configured to not accept security certificates.
Instructions to ensure your browser will work with security certificates are below (for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.02)
- select 'Tools' from the menu bar, then
- select 'Internet Options...' from the drop down list
- select the ‘Advanced' tab
Checking your security settings
- scroll down to the section called 'Security' and
- make sure that 'SSL 3.0' is enabled (ticked)
- click 'OK'
