Those difficult conversations…. A frequent question for the HealthyPractice team is how to address an employee’s poor behaviour or attitude. Sometimes this behaviour has been an issue for some time but has never been addressed.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced an enormous number of changes on the way we all live and work within a very short time. It hasn’t been easy and a full economic and social recovery may take years. But for many individuals and workplaces, the lockdown also provides an opportunity to review the way they work and reassess their options for when things get back to some sort of normality.

Most of the country heaved a collective sigh of relief at the news that we are moving to Level 2 from 11.59pm tonight. At Level 2 we would expect that all our practices will be open, perhaps not at their pre-Covid level, but they will be seeing patients and clients.

While our subscribers who were classified as essential services during Level 4 will have developed processes to deliver their services under the Covid 19 restrictions, moving to level 3 takes the focus off essential and moves to ‘safe’.

We are certainly living through unprecedented times and having to feel our way through day by day. There is a huge amount of information available and in some cases this information is changing daily. We are grateful to all the people who are providing essential health services and those unsung heroes in the supermarkets and other essential service providers.
